Editor, Gazette-Journal:

It is criminally irresponsible for the National Rifle Association to ignore the need for control of semi-automatic assault weapons in our society.

We reside in congested communities, for the most part. This is the 21st century, not the Wild West of fable. The hypocritical stance of their representatives on television is nauseating. The NRA is no better than a criminal militia.
