I noticed that VDOT had plenty of blacktop to resurface Peach Point (Route 745) in Mathews County. I have lived on Lovers Lane (Route 647) for the last 45 years and the only thing I’ve ever seen put on the road is sand and tar that gets stuck on your car. We’re lucky enough on Lovers Lane that we still have all the ruts, holes and bumps that were made when sewage was run down the road 44 years ago!
