Letter: New FCC policy an attempt to control the internet

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The recent power grab by the FCC to control the internet is a bald-faced ploy to control the internet. This action by the FCC constitutes an illegal action to usurp Congress and the will of the people.

Earlier this year, a federal court ruled that the FCC lacked the legal authority to regulate the internet. In my opinion, the FCC has made itself a rogue, outside the authority of Congress and the rule of law. A prompt censure and relief for cause of those responsible is in order.

Currently, over 300 House and Senate members have signed a letter opposing the FCC internet regulation. I urge each citizen to write to their Representative and Senators in opposition of this blatant illegal act. We are losing America. The descent into lawless tyranny must be halted. Add your voice to the opposition.
