Once again Nan “Nannie Mae” Belvin McComber attended the Guinea Jubilee and shared her extensive family history records, much to the delight of her fellow “Guineamen.” A native of Guinea, she has done the area proud with her painstaking research. No one has assembled more information on the families and folkways of Guinea than she has.

When deliberation begins next year on the selection of a Grand Marshal for the Guinea Jubilee, I hope she will be considered.
