On behalf of the Mathews Volunteer Fire Department, I would like to thank the citizens of Mathews and surrounding areas that made our BBQ supper a great success on Saturday.

I would also like to thank our two major sponsors—Chesapeake Bank and Beach Bum BBQ—for their continued support. I would also like to thank the Mathews Lions Club for the use of their tents and Deltaville Market.
