I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Meals on Wheels fundraiser last Wednesday evening. We had wonderful volunteers, served lots of meals and raised $3,367.43 for the Mathews County Meals on Wheels program. It was a wonderful night and it was so nice to see so many people come together to support a wonderful program. As usual, I was overwhelmed by the generosity of all who attended. I realize you had other ways of spending your time and money, but I appreciate you spending it with us.

We prepare and send out for delivery approximately 400 meals per week. My staff and I love this program and take great pride in providing this service to the participating residents of Mathews County. Thank you for helping us make this possible.
