I want to invite all in Mathews County to help celebrate the first year anniversary of the Mathews County Ploggers. We are members of a Facebook group that walks and removes litter from county roadways and shorelines.

On Sunday, March 21st between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., we are doing a Plog-A-Thon and asking for your participation by picking up litter in your neighborhood or favorite spot in the county.

We ask that you wear bright clothing for your safety and gloves for protection. With the gift of your time and effort during this anniversary event, we can make Mathews roadways and waterways smile brightly again.
