Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Thank you, Charles Ingram, for seven terms on our Mathews County Board of Supervisors. Knowing you, I always felt you had the best interest and welfare of our county at heart, and though we sometimes disagreed, you always listened.

Once again disagreeing, we have many better choices for our board than someone whose facts as often presented aren’t always correct. We need to get rid of the animosity on our board, so we can move ahead, as Melissa Mason says “collaboratively.” I enthusiastically endorse Melissa Mason, Mike Rowe and Edwina Casey (we need her humor and experience). These three have given many more than 15 years of long, hard work to this county.
