It is time for the voters of Mathews County to return some sense of civility and order to the board of supervisors. Melissa Mason is just the candidate to do so. A native of Mathews and graduate of Mathews High School, Rev. Mason has returned to Mathews to dedicate her life and passion for the county by serving not only as a leader of the religious community but also a leader of the county’s education process. Now she has stepped up to serve her beloved Mathews at the highest level of governance by seeking a position on the board of supervisors. Never, in recent years, has the board needed the type of leadership, civility, and collaboration that Melissa Mason brings.
