I am writing in support of Melissa Mason, a candidate for the Mathews County Board of Supervisors.
Melissa grew up in this area where she attended and graduated from Mathews High School. She continued her education, graduating from Virginia Union University with several degrees. Melissa is well prepared to serve on the board of supervisors.
I observed Melissa when she was a member of the school board. She conducted herself in a most professional and caring manner. She never wavered in her decision making because she had always researched and done her homework on the issue at hand.
Melissa is someone who is dependable and reliable. She will voice your concerns and represent all the citizens of Mathews. She is committed to whatever task that may come before her and will take an approach that is well-thought-out before making a decision.
She is involved in the community and is very knowledgeable on many issues in the government, both local and state.
