I am supporting Melissa Mason in her candidacy for the Mathews County Board of Supervisors. As an elected school board member, an associate minister with Emmaus Baptist Church, and an active member of countless organizations, Melissa is a proven and prudent leader. Importantly, she knows how to bring people together and bridge divisions as shown as the Mathews County School Board Chairman.

It is significant, and in every citizen’s interest, that Melissa not only brings us a vision of progress as indicated in the 50-year vision for Mathews County on the Board of Supervisors’ website, but also understands the nuts and bolts of the infrastructure needed to make things happen. Mathews is a small, close-knit community and with Melissa being on the Board of Supervisors for her hometown, I am confident that Mathews will greatly benefit from Melissa’s leadership and example as we move forward to meet the challenges that face us and continue to enjoy...
