The Mathews County TRIAD, in collaboration with the Mathews County Sheriff’s office, held its annual Spring Safety Fair on May 14 and it was a huge success! There were 108 attendees and 18 vendors.

We would like to thank all who made this event the success it was.

Thank you to all of the speakers for the valuable information shared, the vendors who brought important resources to our seniors, the ladies who prepared the delicious meal, the many businesses and individuals that provided door prizes.

Thank you to the Piankatank Ruritan Club, Mathews Lions Club, the Color Guard of the American Legion Post 83, and MHS students for your assistance and support.

Thank you to Lynda Greve, Michael Gregg and Gary Painter for sharing your musical talent. Without all of you, this event would not have been possible and we are truly grateful for all you did!
