On any given day, you will find the seniors at the Mathews Active Lifestyle Center fully engaged in any number of activities. But the month of December is usually off-the-charts busy!
This year, the center manager and seniors want to thank those who helped make the season extra special: Nancy Gainer and her Master Gardener friends gave seed packet wreaths and donated bulbs from Brent & Becky’s; The Mathews Woman’s Club provided food and treats for the annual Christmas party; the members of Kingston Episcopal Parish gifted a new blouse or sweater for each senior, while Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church members delivered a beautiful gift-wrapped box with personal items for each person.
The Mathews Active Lifestyle Center Manager Laura Matthews and the seniors thank everyone for their generosity and the love that went into making the Christmas season so very merry and bright.
