Letter: Make Gloucester Point a beautiful entry point

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I am writing in reference to the beautiful landscaping, etc., on Route 17 across from the Walmart shopping area. It is truly a beautiful entry to the Gloucester Court House area. Great job!

I have just one question: Why is there absolutely nothing of this sort at the bottom of the Coleman Bridge area when entering our county? (One sign further up the road—near a used car lot.) This area has been neglected for years—not one flower, plant or shrub. Just concrete!

The “powers that be” in our county need to remember the rest of us and try to make Gloucester Point a beautiful entry for our visitors. We could use a daffodil or two, also.
