Letter: Majority of voting public are fools

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

As a follow-up to my recent letter to the editor, I report below the results of a Washington Post-NBC News poll. The poll was a random sample of 1,002 adults and had a margin of error of 3.5 percent.

The results were reported in a local daily newspaper as: “Despite the problems with the health care law’s implementation, Democrats maintain an edge over Republicans on which party Americans trust to deal with the issue, by a margin of 44 percent to 36 percent. Democrats hold advantages of similar size on energy and immigration. On helping the middle class, the Democrats have a 13-point advantage.”

I think the results of the poll prove the point … the majority of the voting public are fools. Who else would look at the failures of the issues mentioned and still (still!) support the ones responsible.
