Editor, Gazette-Journal:

In 2020 we had a secure border, we were energy independent, we had sanctions on China and Iran. We stopped Russia’s pipeline, we made sure Iran could not get a nuclear weapon, and China was giving us billions of dollars in tariffs. We were not in NATO or the UN because other countries relied on the U.S. and did not pay their share. We had a strategic military base in Bagram, Afghanistan. The Abraham Accord (U.S., Bahrain, Sudan, Morocco and Israel) was keeping the Arab nations and the U.S. safe from terrorists.

Biden chose a vice president most Americans agree is incompetent. She has proven this over and over again. When he went into Afghanistan, he made promises to the American people as well as those who fought for years against the Taliban. He left our people behind and turned the page—out of sight, out of mind. He disgraced our country, made us look weak to the world and called it a success. Did you not see the Afghans holding onto an American plane in an attempt to get out of their country and the Taliban rule? Why wasn’t he impeached? Who would want Kamala to become our president? He always had a safety net (Kamala).

Biden was elected to be president and, in 2021, eliminated the great policies which were in place working to “Make America Great Again.” He did all of this with one stroke of a pen. Today, he could stroke his pen and bring back these policies which were working to keep Americans safe.

The biggest concern in America today is our border. Where have we been for over three years? We have a border that has been wide open from Day One of this presidency. Most Americans were never kept up to date with the illegals flowing into our country. We have not been told that they just walk in, knowing they will get amnesty. Why is that? Biden has allowed drugs, cartels, sex trafficking of many illegals of which many are children. Do you call this humane?

We have been lied to by our president, our vice president, Homeland Security, the DOJ, the FBI and the Pentagon. If you don’t watch Fox News, you have been kept in the dark about this administration’s policies on our border. He has put the safety of every citizen in this country at risk, and for what? Maybe to have even more election interference by allowing the illegals to get credentials so they can vote. The Democrats have already committed election interference by prosecuting our former president to keep him off the ballot. We have a corrupt un-democratic government and you had better wake up before it is too late.
