Letter: Library was a lifesaver

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

My whole family is grateful for the Gloucester Public Library. It was a lifesaver after the recent hurricane electrical blackout.

People of all ages were there, charging electrical devices and connecting with online newspapers and their email.

Important, too, children were doing their homework. As public schools abandon printed textbooks, the public library becomes essential for many students.

We are fortunate to have a well-equipped public library in Gloucester County.
