I have always looked forward to reading the Gazette-Journal—my parents before me also read the “Mathews paper” with great interest. After watching the “60 Minutes” spot Sunday night on the gobbling up and downsizing of newspapers across the nation, I not only look forward to receiving the Gazette-Journal every week, I treasure seeing it in my mailbox.
The Gazette-Journal is filled with news and information that keeps us knowledgeable and up-to-date on local and national happenings. I enjoy the “Days Past” section as well.
A big Thank You to all the journalists, investigators, guest writers, editors, printers, deliverers and everyone else who works together to publish a most wonderful weekly paper. You are an important part of the fabric of our country. You do a difficult and challenging job, and you do it well.
