Letter: Kindness truly abounds

As the Executive Director of the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic, I am awed and inspired daily by the generosity of our community. Our Clinic and patients have been blessed by the kindness of others in innumerable ways. We are grateful for our generous grantors, Community Health Partners, and individuals who provide financial support, as well as the volunteers who give so selflessly of life’s most precious commodity—time.

We appreciate the teams of Riverside Health System, Walter Reed Hospital, Sentara and Bon Secours who provide the care we cannot provide within our walls, as well as the faith community that prepares extraordinary meals for our after-hours Clinic. In a day and age when the news can seem overwhelmingly negative, kindness truly abounds.
