Letter: Keeping history alive

On behalf of the Rosewell Foundation we thank all our friends and neighbors for the support you have shown Rosewell this year, especially at our yearly October festivities!

Our annual BBQ and Oyster Roast was more than we hoped for, given the torrential rain on the morning of the event! An extra special thanks is due to those 100 hardy souls who braved the rain and turned out to enjoy an afternoon of wonderful music, great Scoot’s BBQ and Cappahosic Oysters, and libations from New Kent Winery, Gloucester Brewery and 8 Shires Distillery. A special thanks to our sponsors Jamestowne Investments, Fairfield Foundation, and Trudy’s Portable Toilets. And, of course, it’s always magical to share the land and history of those magnificent Rosewell ruins!
