I am Brandon Powell’s mother, Sabrena Powell, I believe Kids’ Kayak and Conservation Camp was great for my son to not be behind a computer game and out with other kids his age having fun. Mrs. Burgess did a great job as all the other volunteers making the children experience fun and learning. It was not like a class room, they had fun. I do know this; my son told me so his favorite part of course being on the water. So glad my mother-in-law mentioned this camp. Maybe next year children will be able to stay overnight on the beach with tents, I live on the water with a beach down a 2-mile private dirt road and would volunteer myself and beach.
