Just wondering about the significance of the placement of the candidates’ placards under the tallest flagpole in Mathews County flying the flag of the Confederacy. As of Saturday, Sept. 11, the following signs were planted there:

Mike Walls, candidate for Mathews County Supervisor; David Jones, candidate for Mathews County Supervisor; Bobby Dobson, candidate for Mathews County School Board; and Glenn Youngkin, candidate for governor.Anyone else “just wondering?”
