Editor, Gazette-Journal:

It is clearly evident that some of our elected county officials are not capable of their position and responsibilities to the citizens who elected them. They have been mesmerized by a zealous county employee who has been allowed to assume complete dictatorial power over their responsibilities in pursuit of his self-gratification and his quest for future aspirations.

After more than two years and millions of taxpayers’ money, our children are still subjected to long bus rides and classes in trailers, and the end is not yet in sight. Yes, he has proposed a new school building, the date of which has recently been extended.

The final completion date and the final cost of the venture has not been finalized. It is time for a change. We need responsible representatives who will represent the citizens and not be controlled by a self-serving zealot. Vote smart; vote change.
