Letter: Is it ‘Yes We Can’ or ‘No You Can’t’?

It seems that President Obama’s motto has changed from the ever-present "Yes We Can" to a very loud, emphatic "No You Can’t." When asked if we could keep our present doctors under Obamacare, we were told, yes you can. Now we are being told, no you can’t.

That isn’t all we can’t do. Mr. Obama is holding various services of the federal government hostage until everyone agrees to what he wants, the way he wants it. Our WWII heroes, who were willing to give all, are being denied access to their own memorial. They are treated with less respect than the illegal aliens on the Washington Mall.

We can’t stop and view Mount Rushmore from viewing spaces on federal roads. We can’t travel the entire Colonial Parkway because parts of it are closed down. We can’t visit federal parks or campgrounds. Private businesses that are on land leased from the federal government are being forced to close down.
