Letter: Innocents suffering

Editor, Gazette-Journal: Recently, I received this email from senior Dutch friends. “We Europe do not want to be in this war with NAVO. We did not start this war. Israel is continuing with the bombings, also in Syria. The USA has temporarily stopped bombing Iran. 30,000 young people have been shot dead or are in prison during the protests in Iran. A million people in Syria have fled to the north. That is because of Israel. There is a real crisis in Europe. Prices for food, diesel, and gasoline are constantly rising. Truckers have to fill up with expensive diesel, and transportation is especially expensive now. The entire fishing fleet is still idle; they cannot afford the diesel. We only have kerosene left for 5 months at the airport. Every day, the consequences are discussed on TV.” The world is suffering because of USA. I asked a Republican friend for his thoughts.
