The purpose of the Mathews County Resources Council (MCRC) is to inform, educate and collaborate with community groups to disseminate information that the community “needs” to know.

This past Thursday, Aug. 17, an enthusiastic Superintendent of Schools, Nancy Welch, Ed.S., during her annual presentation to MCRC, shared an overview of the MCPS’s aims for the coming school year.

Mathews County Public Schools is certainly a system to be proud of its academic picture with the DOE report showing full accreditation for each school.
