I am writing in support of Abigail Spanberger for Governor, and for all Democrats currently running for office in Virginia.
Federal employees are being fired right and left, and an estimated 320,000-plus full-time civil service employees reside in Virginia. Rural health care money has been drastically cut. The Department of Education is being decimated. The list goes on and on.
Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger is a centrist whose government service spans everything from law enforcement with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (think mail crimes like narcotics, money laundering, child predation) to the CIA, to three terms as a member of Congress.
And it’s not just a Democratic governor we need. About 9.4 percent of Virginians, well over 820,000 people, depend on SNAP for food, and the funds are being withheld illegally for political purposes.
