Editor, Gazette-Journal:
America has been stolen from God by the Godless. So too Israel (in 683 BC) because of the “blindness” of the people (Isaiah 42:14-25) “hear you deaf and look you blind, that you may see” vs 18). Today, the Godless and Blind continue to blaspheme Him day and night.
Redemption comes later in Isaiah chapters 43-45. How long, oh LORD, will it take America to re-awaken?
The parallel in Scripture is a clear warning. The comparison of the LORD later choosing Cyrus (King of Persia) to raise up Israel’s ruins and subdue nations and rebuild the cities of Judah and lay the foundation of the Jewish temple, is likened to Trump being chosen to Make America Great Again.
Assassination, judgments and scoffing will not succeed. The blind laugh at the peril of their own children’s future.
