Editor, Gazette-Journal:

With the abnormal days that we have all experienced in the past six months, we have let our mind and body not look at a calendar or clock.

As members of the Mathews County Woman’s Club, our meetings and special events have been canceled. Trying to stay connected and keep involved with the needs of our community has been hard. I’m sure there are other community organizations that are experiencing the same.

Our members have cleaned and sanitized the clubhouse and will continue to do so before each event. If there are any groups that are interested in using the clubhouse, please call me at 804-854-3390. In the past year, there have been birthday parties, baby showers and meetings. We welcome you to call if there is a need we can help you with.
