Letter: Helpful clerk’s office staff appreciated

The Fairfield Foundation would like to extend our many thanks to the deputy clerks in the Gloucester County Clerk’s Office, especially Christy Gabler and Robin Fisher, for their continued hospitality to researchers in the Record Room. As archaeologists and historians of Gloucester’s history, we often find ourselves needing to consult the county’s documentary records for our research.

Whether we are writing the history of a property or a biography of one of our historic citizens, Christy and Robin are always cheerful and never hesitate to offer advice when our researchers are unsure how best to proceed. It is reassuring to know that we will be greeted in the Record Room by such helpful staff.

Our staff, our interns, and all of our volunteers wish to thank them and all of the staff in our Clerk’s Office for their support, and we look forward to their continued support as we move forward with our historical research in Gloucester Co...
