Letter: Heartwarming

Editor, Gazette-Journal:
Each day I check for incoming letters to Santa in his special mailbox in front of the Mathews Museum. We forward all of them to Santa so that he can answer each letter personally.
One of the letters I received yesterday didn’t have a return address, so Santa asked that I open it to see if it might have a return address inside the envelope. No such luck. What I found, however, warmed my heart, and Santa’s, too.
While many folks dismiss the younger generation as selfish and entitled, this one Christmas request should give us renewed hope and faith in those we will leave behind to run this old world:
“Dear Santa,
“I wish everyone safe travels & a wonderful Christmas this year. I wish for good luck for my church and good fortune for the year. Amen. “Caitlyn”
Just remember: Everything is possible for one who believes”—Mark 9:23.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
