Letter: Hard work keeps Bay School vital

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The Bay School Community Art Center’s 14th annual Art Auction was held this past weekend at Edgewater Farm, on the North River. The auction committee worked tirelessly for six months to make the evening very special. The skies cleared, the attendees were extraordinarily generous and the event went off without a hitch.

The Bay School is a gallery, a school and a center for outreach for those with special needs. Because of the hard work and generosity of so many in the community, all of the programs will remain and The Bay School will continue to have an important role on Main Street, in Mathews, and throughout the Middle Peninsula.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make this event so successful and special.
