Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Easter isn’t the celebration of the Easter bunny bringing baskets of goodies to all the good boys and girls along with hunting down colored eggs, even though that’s the fun part.

It’s actually the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rising up from his grave, as God called his son back to heaven.

As we go out to attend an Easter egg hunt, either at church or home with our friends and family, stop and give thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing us with this rejoiceful holiday.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter.
