Letter: Happier times

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Wasn’t too long ago if you really think about it, to some extent all you had to worry about was what you were gonna have for dinner. Now it’s everything and I mean every little thing because if you don’t concern yourself with what’s going on (around you) you’ll end up dead.

Put on your thinking caps (and tin foil hats) and take a ride with me.

It’s very obvious to any normal, rational thinking individual, the government (county, state and federal) is affecting every aspect of our lives. These effects wear on a person, especially when you’re trying to put food on the table, which leads me to what’s happening to and gonna happen to good ol’ Gloucester County.

Another name you might remember but won’t associate with today’s (financial) circumstances which I’m sure the county hopes (or not). The Barrens was voted on and rejected by the citizenry, but looky looky what’s happening. Call it what you want, but a pig with lipstick is still a pig with lipsti...
