The Hampton Inn in Gloucester was recently a second home to my husband Curtis and me for 10 days. Our home was undergoing a major bathroom renovation and we needed somewhere to stay due to the fact that Curtis is in hospice care and needs a quiet secure environment.
Our choice of accommodations could not have been better. The entire staff was extremely cordial and helpful in meeting our needs. Curtis is a Vietnam veteran and is confined to a wheelchair and has to have medical equipment, including a hospital bed.
Wilbur Flores, the general manager, and Paulette Trimmer, assistant manager, were extremely helpful in working with me to secure a suite large enough for all of Curtis’s medical equipment. The Home DME Company provided his equipment, working through his hospice provider, Grace Hospice.
