This letter is in support of Les Hall, who is running for Commissioner of the Revenue in Mathews. My husband, Neil Webre, and I, Annie Wortham, aka Annie Rooney, have known Les and his family for 20 years in several capacities.

As a fellow school board member, I found Les to always be prepared for our meetings, having done the prerequisite readings and research in order to be informed on all the issues. He showed at all times his support for the Mathews teachers, staff and students. I never knew him to miss a meeting or obligation during the eight years I served with him.

In addition, as a business owner, I had the opportunity to use Les Hall’s accounting service to help with my business. I found him to be very conscientious and professional in dealing with my finances.

We also raised children at the same time. His boys were friends with my son, and they all spent time in each others’ homes, so we got to know Les and Lynn well during our parenting years. We were always pleased to have our son spend time in their home and to have their kids in our home.

So on Tuesday, Neil and I urge you to please cast your vote for Les Hall. His slogan, “Get More with Les,” is a true statement.
