Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I would like to reference a donation of $8,000 made to Park Partners for a special needs playground at Woodville Park. This donation was made possible because of the love and caring of the Abingdon Ruritan Club members and their generous donations to the special needs kids of the STAR program.

This playground would certainly benefit all special needs kids and we are grateful that the Abingdon Ruritan Club made this possible.
