Grateful for many blessings

I’m grateful to this newspaper for their support of our letter writings—expressing sometimes our frustration, sometimes our gratefulness. I am also grateful for this newspaper’s support of the NIE (Newspapers In Education) program, which teaches our young people about local happenings and hopefully about the necessity of our democracy.

I’m grateful for my health, and that I was able to go canvassing (with Paul Stinson driving) this past election. I’m grateful for the meeting and talking with past friends, past people who worked for us years ago. I met 22/25 new and old friends in the Mobjack area. One interesting comment from a lady: “I’ve had three people visit me about voting, all women.” I’m truly grateful the way our elections turned out. Ladies, keep on working. We need a change at the top.
