Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I’ve attended many of the public hearings held by our new Gloucester County Board of Supervisors. We have many dedicated and professional public servants on the school board and planning commission. Most work for free and deserve our praise.

However, I’ve been most pleased with our board of supervisors. They are thoughtful, detailed and focused. Best of all, they are working hard to take good care of our tax dollars, increase revenue without raising taxes and finding the money to improve the education of our kids. I’m certain that our teachers will get their raises and wishfully, in a more competitive free market manner.

Our county is good hands. I wish the same were true for the federal government.
