Thanks to all of you who helped support Samaritan Group, Inc., with online donations during last fall’s successful Amazing Raise fundraiser. This year, The Samaritan Group’s online fundraiser will take place on a very special day: Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016. Giving Tuesday is a global effort for charities to unite to encourage giving and is always held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. We invite you to join the movement and to help us get the word out and give this Nov. 29.

SGI was organized in 1991 by Gloucester citizens for the purpose of helping Gloucester residents who were “falling through the cracks” in terms of having their needs met. Since 1991, SGI has assisted more than 3,000 Gloucester families with over $1,000,000 disbursed for temporary financial emergencies such as electricity, rent and heat.
