It has been brought to my attention that a false rumor is being spread around the Petsworth District that Ken Gibson is planning to raise property taxes in Gloucester County if elected to the Board of Supervisors.

I have lived in Gloucester most of my life and have been a small business owner for nearly 20 years, I would not support Ken if he stood for raising our taxes. We pay enough.

Ken has said in-person and in his campaign materials since the beginning of his campaign:

“I am committed to fostering a vibrant economy in Gloucester. I will support local business growth and foster a low tax, business friendly environment. I will work to attract quality new businesses to expand our tax base, increase quality jobs, and keep our taxes low for everyone.”
