I had the pleasure of meeting Mari Gibbs several times this past summer while reviewing Mathews County school curriculum.

From our conversations, I found Mari Gibbs to be exceedingly qualified for a position on the Mathews County School Board given her lengthy credentials in the field of education, but she has much more to offer than a PhD. Her respect of others, especially those with differing opinions, is a true asset. Other qualities she demonstrates are perseverance, enthusiasm and a deep concern for the well-being and best interests of every student. Her wisdom, integrity and gracious demeanor will serve the students, school employees, and community members well.

I encourage you to vote for Mari Gibbs for Mathews County School Board.
