Letter: Freedom of speech trumps PC language

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The editor of the Journal used correctly the feminine pronouns in the letters about Gavin Grimm objected to by Ms. Barbara King (Feb. 23 Readers Write). Had the editor done otherwise, the intent of the letters may have been misunderstood by the reader. The First Amendment to the Constitution guaranteeing “freedom of speech” trumps political correctness.
