As former teachers and current grandparents of Mathews students, we support Lorraine Forrest for the Mathews County School Board. She was educated in Mathews; her children and also grandchildren came through Mathews schools.

She has been an active member of the Continental Society which works to provide enrichment activities and reading programs for children.

She has an associate’s business degree from Rappahannock Community College, retired from Dominion Power after 39 years, has served as a Mathews election official, and supported Mathews seniors with the Meals on Wheels program.

It’s clear that Lorraine is a public service-minded individual and we believe that Mathews children would greatly benefit from her service on the school board.
