Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Both candidates are known, Trump as president for four years, and Harris as vice president for four years under President Joe Biden.

When Kamala Harris was asked what she would do differently from the last four years, she replied: “Well, I can’t really think of a single thing.” Harris is a California radical liberal and I don’t trust her.

Former President Trump showed us what he would do, and will do again to restore democracy, fix the economy, inflation, the borer, put more money in our pockets, etc.

Can you really answer “Yes” that you are better off now than you were four years ago? Trump will restore the American Dream that we all want.

Those who claim they are not voting for Trump, or are not voting at all, do not grasp the critical issues at stake in this election.

Our freedoms come in “threes.” Political freedom, economic freedom and religious liberty coexist together. Take one away and the other two will eventually disappear. One cannot exist with the other two.

America had all three, until recently. Trump fully grasps the loss of religious liberty. He knows that economic and political freedoms are evaporating. He will reverse that. Harris will decimate all three.

Candidly, the ruler I want is King Jesus. He rules in my heart, and yours too, I suspect. I want Him to rule here—now. However, that day is not fully manifested, at least not yet. In the meantime, prayerfully, carefully navigate this election season, with the desire that we honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every arena of our lives, including the voting booth. That is my hope. I believe it is yours as well.

This is my take on this extremely important election.
