Election Day is almost upon us and we as voters have several choices to make that will impact our future both at the state and local county level. I would like to encourage all Mathews voters to support Jack White for the board of supervisors. Jack, as most of us know, is a local businessman engaged in oyster farming with a prime goal in mind to help return the health of the Chesapeake Bay and other local waters.

He is also an attorney, so he is well versed in legal matters which can only benefit us on the board of supervisors. As has been mentioned in other letters of support, he is a member of numerous civic and social organizations, too many to list in a short letter. Jack’s family goes back many years in Mathews County, so his love and desire to do what is best for all citizens has deep roots.
