I am writing to voice my support of Anita Parker’s candidacy for School Board for the Petsworth District in Gloucester County. Mrs. Par-ker is a kind woman who has devoted her life to children (her own and others) and their education. Her three sons attended Gloucester County Public Schools where Mrs. Parker was an active PTA member (PTA President at times) and after-school sports parent volunteer. Her support of the school system did not stop after her sons graduated. She became even more involved by being elected to the school board.

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Parker during my senior year at Gloucester High School. As part of my SIRS (Senior Boards) project, I attended school board meetings and shadowed Mrs. Parker so that I could demonstrate to fellow students how to affect change in our schools. Mrs. Parker was entirely encouraging and supportive of my project and even attended my presentation to the faculty. This is just a small example...
