I am writing to express my support for Gloucester School Board candidate Anita Parker, and encourage other voters to do so as well.

I have taught for GCPS for 21 years. She has been on the board 16 of those years, and I have always appreciated her diligence, wisdom, and continued service to the county. She has the experience to continue serving the students, school staffs, and taxpayers of this county. While some desire fresh faces on the board, experience matters immensely in public service—many jobs, even entry level, require experience and serving the county should be no different.

Anita Parker has the experience and expertise to deserve your vote, and she has the county’s best interest at heart.

Her service on the board has allowed her to serve on various other committees and boards which promote student success and safety. A good portion of her adult life has been dedicated to serving this community, and that is no small achievement. Additiona...
