Anita Parker has demonstrated leadership during her service on the Gloucester County School Board. She has shown compassion in listening to the questions and concerns of teachers, parents and students. She has tenaciously searched for answers from statewide leaders and the Department of Education staff. Thanks to her efforts we have an outstanding school system with first-rate teachers and amazing students.

Her opponent gives us no details of her credentials that would make her a suitable candidate for the position. Has she participated in activities and events in public schools that support schools? Has she experience with and knowledge of the regulations and policies pertaining to schools in the Commonwealth of Virginia and Gloucester County? Does she have a record of volunteerism and community service in our county? She offers change. What does that mean?
