Editor, Gazette-Journal:

It is my privilege to endorse Michael Jenkins for the Petsworth seat on the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors. I have known Mike for more than 20 years and find him to be a family man dedicated to and involved in his community.

He is an intelligent man with a history of integrity. He faithfully served as our representative on the Gloucester County School Board for 12 years. I am proud of his service to our county in that capacity and feel that his experience as a member of the school board prepares him well to become a supervisor.

Many important issues face our county today such as tough budgets and land use decisions. Michael Jenkins is someone I can trust to address these issues with all of Gloucester’s citizens in mind. I also know him to be interested in everyone’s opinion and viewpoint, and that he desires to be accessible to all our citizens.
